I was so nervous to try yoga but this course made it so approachable. Sarah was patient and explained everything clearly. I can now touch my toes for the first time in 15 years! Highly recommend to any beginners.

As a 45-year-old man who's never done yoga before, I was skeptical but my doctor recommended it for my back pain. Michael was excellent at showing modifications for my tight hamstrings and the progress over 8 weeks was incredible. My back feels better than it has in years.

The perfect introduction to yoga! I loved how the course built up gradually and the small class size meant we got plenty of individual attention. The studio is beautiful and has all the props you need. I've already signed up for the intermediate course.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring my own mat or equipment?

No, we provide all necessary equipment including mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters. However, you're welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

I'm not flexible at all. Can I still do yoga?

Absolutely! This is one of the most common misconceptions about yoga. You don't need to be flexible to start yoga - that's like saying you need to be fit before going to the gym. Yoga helps develop flexibility over time, and our beginner course is specifically designed for those starting from all levels of flexibility.

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Yoga is practiced barefoot, so no special footwear is required.

What if I miss a class?

We understand that life happens! If you need to miss a class, you can make it up by attending the same week's class on a different day (subject to availability) or schedule a 20-minute mini private session for a small additional fee.

What happens after I complete the 8-week course?

After completing the Foundation Course, most students feel confident joining our regular all-levels classes. We also offer an Intermediate Foundation Course as a next step, and graduates of the Beginner Course receive a special discount on class packages.
